This song is very special. I wrote it very recently and its has a magical energy about it. Every year on Thanksgiving, I sing a song acapella at my aunts Yoga Studio in Petaluma CA. Her thanksgiving class is very special as well. I sing while everyone is in the last resting pose. It has become a tradition. If I cant get to the class because of distance, I record a song for her to play in the class. The week before Thanksgiving, I decided to record my new song Angels, which was not even fully finished. I heard different parts and sounds and I envisioned playing it with some other voices. I had specific friends in mind to be a part of this. I was not sure if everyone would be available since it was so close to Thanksgiving. I called all of them and they were all excited and available to record it the next day! Everyone put so much heart and magic into this song.. they learned it so fast and we finished it that day! We recorded it live at my friends house and the experience and energy in the room when we recorded was truly majestic!
My heart is filled with so much love from this entire experience and from this song... and of course... the angels. <3 Jenna .. Close your eyes and be in the music.
